Something about us
The civic association SVET TICHA – (Civic Association for the Social Integration of Health-Disadvantaged Citizens and Marginalized Groups) was established in 2019 on a proposal pursuant to Act No. 83/1990 Coll. On Associations of Citizens, as amended.
The main mission of our organization is to systematically address the problems associated with poverty and social exclusion that affect marginalized Roma communities. We strive to create sustainable and long-term solutions through comprehensive programs that cover a wide range of areas – from housing, education and employment to the support of active participation and social integration. Our work combines two key levels: direct intervention in the field and systemic change. On the one hand, we provide concrete support to people in their natural environment, on the other hand, we actively work to influence public policies and create strategic measures that improve the conditions for social inclusion at both national and local levels.
