lawyer, cultural social anthropologist, philologist and former state councilor at the Office of the Government Plenipotentiary for Roma Communities has long been dedicated to research and support for marginalized groups, especially the deaf Roma community. His professional focus combines legal, linguistic and anthropological approaches with the aim of better understanding the specific needs of this community and contributing to their social inclusion. As part of his professional activities, he is dedicated to mapping and analyzing the situation of deaf Roma, while examining their language preferences, access to education, employment and legal services. He pays special attention to the barriers that prevent them from fully participating in society and finding solutions to eliminate them. In addition to his research activities, he provides legal advice, specializing in the areas of anti-discrimination law, social policy and human rights. His work is focused on improving access to justice and equal opportunities for deaf Roma and creating conditions for their better integration into society.

Specialist in marginalized populations

expert on environmental issues in marginalized Roma communities and sustainable development in socially disadvantaged areas. Her work focuses on connecting environmental justice, community development and inclusive solutions to improve living conditions in MRC. She has professional experience in the areas of environmental policy, waste management, access to clean water, energy efficiency and environmental education in the context of socially excluded communities. She actively participates in the creation of strategies and projects focused on environmental sustainability and infrastructure improvement in MRC, while cooperating with non-profit organizations. Her work contributes to raising environmental awareness and developing inclusive solutions that support long-term ecological and social sustainability in marginalized Roma communities. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra, where she studied applied ecology and environmental studies.

Roma activist, researcher, and director of RESDI - Roma Environmental Sustainability & Development Initiative with nearly 20 years of experience in community development, human rights, and social innovation. His work connects social inclusion, environmental justice, and sustainable development in marginalized Roma communities. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at Comenius University Bratislava, where his research focuses on social innovation, energy poverty, and inclusive green transformation. He has collaborated with international organizations such as Roma Education Fund, Minority Rights Group Europe, and Open Society Foundations. In 2022, he founded Roma for Humanity Slovakia, an initiative providing humanitarian support to Roma refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine, for which he received the Light from Darkness award. He is also a recipient of the Roma Heart award and served as an advisor to Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová on Roma inclusion and social policy.
