We have completed education and educational activities for the benefit of awareness in Jarovnice, Liptovský Mikuláš, Kremnica, Prešov, Lučenec, Veľký Krtíš…
The responsibility of working with marginalized communities requires not only an empathetic approach, but also sufficient education and awareness for workers. It is not just about work, but about developing humanity, understanding and acceptance of diversity.
The educational initiative for these workers is complex and includes topics outlining the historical path of the deaf towards equality. Subsequently, we try to point out the quality of life of a deaf individual living in a hearing world, especially the issue of language and thinking in connection with a person with a sensory hearing impairment. This has led us to a person who, by conceptually grasping the values in his surroundings, seeks his own identity and place in society. As well as the needs and challenges they encounter. Training should take into account practical aspects such as improving communication, building trust and strengthening cooperation.
Training of staff working in marginalised Roma communities is key to ensuring effective support and inclusion. Welcoming initiatives to provide training to staff who come into daily contact with these communities is essential for creating a positive and respectful working environment.
Training activities serve to understand the specific needs and challenges faced by marginalised Roma communities, including deaf Roma. They are also the cornerstone of the quality of services and support they can provide to deaf Roma. Investing in their training is a path to the future, ensuring better service, promoting inclusion and creating a foundation for lasting positive change. By creating an environment where employees are informed, empathetic and prepared for diversity, it can achieve a deeper understanding and respect for vulnerable groups living in socially excluded localities.
Educational programs and outreach activities for employees can help create an environment where information becomes the most important source of wealth, or mutual enrichment. It is true that a society that is prepared to work with diverse communities is a society that builds bridges and creates opportunities for all.
