The main mission of our organization is to systematically address the problems associated with poverty and social exclusion that affect marginalized Roma communities. We strive to create sustainable and long-term solutions through comprehensive programs that cover a wide range of areas – from housing, education and employment to supporting active participation and social integration.
Our work combines two key levels: direct intervention in the field and systemic change. On the one hand, we provide concrete support to people in their natural environment, on the other hand, we actively work to influence public policies and create strategic measures that improve the conditions for social inclusion at both national and local levels.
The unique dimension of our work lies in the fact that we are based on personal experience – as deaf and sign language professionals, we are aware of the barriers faced by people with hearing impairments, which is why we founded an organization that specializes in supporting this target group. Our ambition is not only to provide assistance, but also to raise awareness of language deprivation and its consequences, thereby contributing to a long-term change in the approach to inclusion.
OUR MISSION
THE WORLD OF SILENCE is an organization dedicated to supporting marginalized communities, especially deaf and hard-of-hearing Roma, who face social exclusion and language deprivation. Our mission is to remove barriers to access to education, employment and legal protection while strengthening their linguistic and cultural identity. We believe that every person has the right to equal opportunities, regardless of their language, ethnicity or hearing impairment.
COLLABORATION
To achieve our goals, we collaborate with experts from various fields – linguistics, law, cultural anthropology, social work and education. We connect public institutions, non-profit organizations and community leaders to create effective solutions for marginalized groups. We believe that only systematic and interdisciplinary cooperation can bring about real change.
OUR WORK
Our main activity is mapping the needs of marginalized communities and the subsequent implementation of solutions that will help them overcome social and communication barriers. We are dedicated to legal and social counseling, educational programs, community activities and raising awareness of deaf Roma and language deficiency. At the same time, we strive to support bilingualism, especially among deaf Roma who lack access to sign language.

We are experts with experience in the field of inclusion and protection of the rights of marginalized communities. Our work is based on research, innovative approaches and practical solutions that bring real results. We approach each person individually, but at the same time we promote systemic changes that will ensure long-term improvement of living conditions.
Our work is based on three key pillars:
- INNOVATION – we look for new approaches to solving problems faced by marginalized groups, especially deaf Roma. We use interdisciplinary methods to ensure effective support in the areas of education, employment and social inclusion.
- INCLUSIVITY – we believe that every person has the right to full inclusion in society. Our task is to remove barriers and create an inclusive environment for deaf Roma.
- COOPERATION – through partnerships, we strengthen our work and contribute to improving the living conditions of deaf Roma throughout society.

We want to expand access to inclusive education, strengthen community support and promote legislative changes that will help marginalized groups achieve a better future.
